My wife was diagnosed with lupus (which is in remission), hypothyroid, and rheumatoid arthritis. She is 44 years old, and I can not get any medical coverage to cover her because of these pre-existing medical symptoms. I have been out of work since 2008, and it has been difficult for us to get her the proper medical attention. We applied for Medicaid, but we do not qualify because of my temporary disability benefits. This is an unfair situation for my wife and me, and I believe that the health plan offered by the President should cover everyone even if there are pre-existing medical diseases.

My spouse was diagnosed with prostate cancer and we can not even qualify for state medical assistance, because we’re over they guidelines, and we can not afford medical insurance because it is so high. Ee do not know what to.
We support President Obama for trying to get the Public Option, for people like us that can not afford regular insurance and do not qualify for State Medicaid.

I have spent the last 7 years without health or dental insurance for my sons because it is so expensive at work. I have spent $4,400 out-of-pocket for my son’s braces, which he really needed. My second son had a cut on his head and I did not have the $300 for the stitches. To this day, every time I see his head scar it reminds me of not having insurance.

I’ve been here for 43 years. I have a green card. I have always been working. I have no insurance. I have 5 children. I don’t receive food stamps, welfare, or child support. By the Grace of God.

I worked with Medicaid/Medicare for more than 25 years as a Bilingual Social Worker and I know for fact that we need HEALTH CARE FOR ALL. Please work hard for the Health Care Reform and support President Obama.
What is more important than good HEALTH?

As a state agency employee-appointee, I was promptly escorted out of a state building on June 2009 after a Republican governor appointed a new director to the agency. I have no current health-care coverage and I’m urging our representatives to make provision in health-care reform for an affordable plan that the poor and middle-class working people can reach out to and touch. It is written that those who remember the poor will be blessed beyond measure. There is plenty for all of us if we use our gifts to provide even for the foreigner. The word of the Lord says that we are to treat the foreigner as ourselves. This means that we are to provide for them the healthcare Americans receive. Gracias.

I have worked in America all my life and this is the first time that there is an administration recognizing the importance to insure all Americans, instead of having tax payers pick up the tab. I think elected officials and individuals that afford today’s unaffordable insurance see their own self interest and nothing beyond. Love will always supersede hatred and greed and the well -being of others. GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got rear ended by a semi-trailer back in 2004, and suffered a neck, head, and arms injury while at work. Thereafter, I suffered two more injuries in two subsequent occasions – both while at work again. I needed medical attention but the company that I worked for cancelled my insurance and it was too expensive for me to pay on my own. The reason they cancelled my insurance was because I was a Hispanic and they felt they had to pay nothing for me. I lost my job because of my injury and have been without insurance since 2005. I am not able to find a job driving a semi-truck because of my injury. I believe it is not fair to have to suffer so much humiliation just because I am a Hispanic. I am in need for dental work, and need to find a way out...without insurance, basically, I am nobody.

My five year old grandson is autistic and his favor died when he was one year old. He and his mother share a home with me. It’s just the three of us.
He only has Medicaid and it hardly pays for anything and he needs speech therapy and many other therapies to try to help him communicate (he’s non-verbal).
It’s because of the government and the dangerous regulation of too many immunization shots given to him at one time that he is now autistic. He was developing perfectly normal until then, he even spoke. In less than a month he lost all his speech and showed severe autism behaviors. One out of 150 children is being diagnosed each and every day with autism.
I feel the government should help him and many others like him who have been poisoned by the mercury in the injections.
When we are no longer here we worry about who will care for my grandson. It’s heartbreaking. We need help now. All of us do!
God bless all these special people and may I live long enough to know they are receiving good help.

Public option is necessary for competitive pricing! I strongly encourage this organization to lobby for this. Por favor!
